REGISTER NOW for this upcoming SoCal GOYA EVENT happening next Saturday, October 23, 2021! All Junior and Senior GOYA (middle & high school ages) welcome!
St. Nicholas Northridge Parish and Community is inviting SoCal GOYA to participate in an outreach project at Children’s Hunger Fund where lunch will be served. We will enjoy a simulated tour of 4 countries that receive the food boxes that are prepared at this facility. Upon completion, we will have a hands-on service opportunity to be part of the assembly process and prepare food boxes. Following this outreach project, dinner and a social event will be hosted at the home of Rula and Andrew Eliopulos. Upon registration you will receive a confirmation email with all the event address information and detail.
Group transportation will be made available and depart from St. John the Baptist Church in Anaheim at 12:00 noon. The van will depart Northridge around 10:00 pm and return to St. John the Baptist for pick-up. There is no cost to attend the event. The cost for group transportation will be $25 per person which can be paid upon arrival (cash only). If you wish to travel to Northridge on your own, please plan to meet the group at Children’s Hunger Fund at 1:30 pm.
We originally had alternate plans however the recently imposed LA County COVID restrictions required us to modify our plans and delayed this event announcement. We hope you are able to attend and join us to express our appreciation to the St. Nicholas parish and community for figuring out a way for us to get together without having to cancel the event altogether! We look forward to experiencing this rewarding and fun event.
Feel free to email us at socalgoya@gmail.com with any questions and register by Wednesday, October 20th so St. Nicholas can plan accordingly. Thank you!
